Who am I? I have worked in the service and manufacturing industry for about 40 years in both BC and Alberta. I started out as a laborer, was a machine and equipment operator, and received my journeyman millwright red seal certificate in 1995. During this time I was a volunteer for a variety of organizations serving our youth and adults alike. Most notably being treasurer and president of the men’s hockey league. I then spent a number of years on political advisory commissions and committees for the city and council. In 1993 I was elected to city council were I served as a effective voice in making thing happen in a timely manner, before moving to Alberta in 1997 for work. Around 2002 I progressed to managing the service department for the western hemisphere and Russia for two product lines. During this time I turned around a crumbling service department and started the wheels moving to more of a service oriented service department in both the USA and Canada. I then went on to General Manager in a few different industries, where I managed challenging environments to reduce overhead, increase productivity all while creating collaborative cultures .

I am married and have three wonderful children who have blessed this grandfather with six precious grandchildren. I have a great love for the outdoors and have many hobbies and interests including: hockey, music, camping, scuba diving, and being a very skilled handyman.

I am a blue-collar guy who has become successful in managing up to, and including, $20 million businesses in some of the most challenging environments. This coupled with my political experience, practical fiscal approach, and life experiences makes me the best candidate to serve the residents and business owners of Ward 3.

I am a collaborative leader who values all opinions and one who will not stop doing what is needed until your concerns are addressed and/or met. I also believe everyone offers value and the best ideas come from the oddest of places. I am a leader who will provide an actual answer when asked a question as I believe people deserve nothing less.
